As part of the Technical Support Center, our primary mission is to support our customers and provide an amazing customer experience. If you are curious, have a passion for emerging technology, communicate well and are a natural problem-solver, we’d love to have you join our front line of support!
As a Hardware Support Specialist, you’ll be providing remote support to our customers, resellers and field engineers for our 3D printers. This is the hub of our nation-wide support system and we are looking for candidates who excel at making our customers happy through superb communication and technical troubleshooting. We work in a fast-paced, dynamic industry and our technical center follows suit. If you possess the ability to multi-task and enjoy fixing and tearing apart machines, this is the role for you!
2-year degree or higher in a technical, electrical, mechanical or related field.
1+ year experience handling customer support/interaction
Experience working in a technical support/customer relationship position
Experience working with 3D printers
Working knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
Ability to remotely troubleshoot and solve difficult problems
Understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems
Ability to work well with people in understanding and resolving problems in high-pressure situations
Computer productivity software knowledge – Microsoft Office, CRM, CAD/CAM applications and database applications
Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable with conflict resolution as with dealing with customers who are upset over an equipment issue
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Less than 10% travel
