The 2020 Stratasys Public Relations Intern will need to be a forward-thinking, well-rounded individual with a record of outstanding academic performance and high learning agility. We’re looking for an individual who can work in an open and entrepreneurial way. As part of the Corporate Marketing function, our global PR team helps tell the Stratasys story and engage effectively with customers, prospects, partners, employees, analysts, influencers and our communities. As a Public Relations Intern, you’ll have a 12-week experience that focuses on the following:
Manage press coverage analytics with Cision Communications Cloud
Draft periodic blog posts
Coordinate occasional media activities
Develop content for employee communications channels
Manage employee and partner contributions to our social media sharing platform, Dynamic Signal
Support analyst relations activities with briefing and inquiry scheduling, briefing materials and recaps.
Follow influencer conversations on social media
Participate in regularly scheduled team huddles to plan upcoming days/week
Train, network, and share learnings with fellow team members and enjoy social events
Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in your Junior or higher in a degreed program.
Entering Senior year education of school (three years of higher education must be completed) with a graduation date no later than Dec. 31, 2021
Minimum overall GPA of 3.3
Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated editorial writing skills
Extracurricular activities demonstrating an interest in leadership and/or communications-related fields
GPA of 3.5 or higher
Visual communications skills a plus
All majors considered, with a preference for: Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Communications or similar
Travel Requirements: Rarely
The Stratasys, Inc. Summer Internship Program is designed to give interns a holistic view of what Stratasys has to offer from a multitude of departments. Our 12-week paid program begins in May and goes through mid-August. During the program each intern is embedded in real time projects, which they contribute to or even lead depending on their experience level. Our Campus team helps to educate, train, and grow our interns through Monthly activity such as 3D printing trainings, Lunch & Learn seminars, and Coffee Talks with department leaders. We also try hosting offsite team building activities to promote networking among the group through volunteer events.
