The Public Relations Manager is responsible for leading the public relations and public affairs programs for the organization both independently and at the direction of the VP of Public Relations and Chief Marketing Officer. This role leads company interactions with media sources and influencers to share stories around our customers and technologies, to develop content that brings Stratasys innovations to life and to ignite excitement around the brand to create brand ambassadors.

  • Partner with the Global, VP, Public Relations, to develop and execute earned media strategies to increase brand awareness, familiarity and favorability

  • Manage regional and global Public Relations vendors

  • Manage corporate and marketing announcements including new products, partnerships and mergers/acquisitions

  • Manage company trademark activity with Legal team, when necessary

  • Manage our Dynamic Signal platform for social content sharing by employees and channel partners, including overseeing our employee social media ambassadors and encouraging channel partners to take full advantage of the platform

  • Align with other departments within the Global Marketing organization (i.e. Digital, Vertical Marketing, Regional Marketing, etc.) to help achieve lead and opportunity targets with top-of-the-funnel content and visibility

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams to develop strategies and vehicles for communication to attract and retain talent and build brand advocate community

  • Develop, draft and edit a variety of external communications materials as needing, including blog posts, news releases, presentations and Q&As

  • Leverage analytics to evaluate and optimize all our communications efforts

  • Work effectively with local, industry and business media to share Stratasys stories

  • Develop case studies in collaboration with vertical and regional marketing teams that showcase powerful applications of 3D printing

  • Collaborate closely with the Social Media team to ensure our communications strategy is executed effectively across our social channels and to help listen to our key audiences on social media

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field of study

  • 4+ years of progressive corporate and/or agency experience

  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise B2B companies in Public Relations capacity

PREERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong writing skills and editorial judgement, with a knack for creative storytelling

  • Some experience with internal communications.

  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Cision and Sprinklr

  • Enthusiasm for digital manufacturing subject matter and inquisitiveness for learning about new topics and technologies

  • Demonstrated aptitude for media relations

  • Ability to simplify complex topics and work with technical materials and experts

  • Demonstrated understanding of social media strategy principles

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 15% local, domestic and international.
